Wee Care Christian Academy
Wee Care Christian Academy opened its doors in June of 2008, fulfilling our communities need to have christian based childcare in Myakka City, FL.
Starting at just 6 weeks of age, we provide full day daycare for up to 5 years of age. We also offer morning and after school care for elementary age children.
We teach Wee Learn K1 (12m-18m) and Abeka Curriculum K1- K4 with focused bible study everyday. Our students visit Myakka City Methodist Church Chapel every Friday at 9am.

Treasure Chest Ministry
The Treasure Chest is a ministry of The Myakka City Methodist Church and is located on the church grounds. The Treasure Chest is run by volunteers from our church and community. Our inventory comes from donations from the community. These items include assorted clothes, books, kitchen items, linens, toys and more.
Our mission is to provide these items to the public at no cost. A food pantry is available for those in need. We are open Friday and Saturday mornings, 9am-noon. Donations of usable clean items may be dropped off at the building when we are open.

Celebrate Recovery
A Bible-based, Christ-centered, 12-Step recovery program, Celebrate Recovery (CR) is designed to help people struggling with addiction, hurt, or pain of any kind while reconnecting with God.

Celebrate Recovery meets every Saturday beginning with dinner at 5:45pm in the fellowship hall, followed by a large group meeting at 6:30pm in the sanctuary. Small groups meet following the large group meeting.
Bible Study
Join us Wednesday evenings at 6pm in the sanctuary as we learn and grow together discovering the truths in God's Word.
Annual Back to School Cookout and Backpack Give-Away
This event is a ministry and outreach of the Myakka City Methodist Church. It is held annually on a Saturday in July. For the past 10 years we have been serving our neighbors by giving away up to 200 backpacks filled with school supplies to the children of our community. Please check our facebook page for updates.
Vacation Bible School
VBS is held annually in June. The children sing songs, play games, create arts and crafts, and most importantly learn in God's Word. Through this ministry, the children grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. We encourage you to check our facebook page for updates.
The Myakka City Community Orchestra
We are proud to host the Myakka City Community Orchestra.
MCCO is a multigenerational orchestra open to anyone who wants to play. We have beginner, intermediate, and advanced groups. We meet year round on Monday nights at The Myakka City Methodist Church on Lebanon st. Come play with us!
